Full Metal Jacket / Full Cotton Tee
I don't know but I been told...
Full Metal Jacket - Stanley Kubrick’s Vietnam master piece inspired our Full Cotton T ( FCJ ) It’s also our Sunday Suggestion this week. This stone cold classic film is packed full of iconic dialogue and images, here we share a selection.
Rifleman's Creed
This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
Without me, my rifle is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will ...
My rifle and I know that what counts in war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, nor the smoke we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit ...
My rifle is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel. I will keep my rifle clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will ...
Before God, I swear this creed. My rifle and I are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life.
So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy, but peace!

Marines Die
Today, you people are no longer maggots. Today, you are Marines. You're part of a brotherhood. From now on, until the day you die, wherever you are, every Marine is your brother. Most of you will go to Vietnam. Some of you will not come back. But always remember this: Marines die. That's what we're here for. But the Marine Corps lives forever and that means you live forever.

Marine, what is that button on your body armour?
Joker : A peace symbol, sir.
Where'd you get it?
Joker : I don't remember, sir.
What is that you've got written on your helmet?
Joker : "Born to Kill", sir.
You write "Born to Kill" on your helmet and you wear a peace button. What's that supposed to be, some kind of sick joke?
Joker : No, sir.
You'd better get your head and your ass wired together, or I will take a giant shit on you.
Joker : Yes, sir.
Now answer my question or you'll be standing tall before the man.
Joker : I think I was trying to suggest something about the duality of man, sir.
The what?

... and kill them
I wanted to see exotic Vietnam... the crown jewel of Southeast Asia. I wanted to meet interesting and stimulating people of an ancient culture... and kill them. I wanted to be the first kid on my block to get a confirmed kill!

The pages of history
We have nailed our names in the pages of history, enough for today. We hump down to the perfume river to set in for the night. My thoughts drift back to erect-nipple wet dreams about Mary Jane Rottencrotch and the Great Homecoming Fuck Fantasy. I am so happy that I am alive, in one piece and short. I'm in a world of shit. Yes. But I am alive. And I am not afraid.

Full Cotton Tee
We've decided to pay homage to Kubrick's classic with our hand dyed, locally printed Full Cotton Tee. Each t-shirt has it's unique tie dye camouflage and features a Good Measure chest print and large 'peace sign' back print. This really is a super limited production run (we dyed them ourselves) meaning there are only 12 of these available and an exclusive to the Good Measure web store, so if you want one you know what to do...
Cop one here.
