The new seasonal Theresa Green colourway is the latest hand-dyed version of Good Measure's M-21 Sweatshirt. Made in England from heavyweight 480gsm, reverse weave loopback cotton jersey and knitted to Good Measure specs in very small runs by one of the last remaining mills in the country, the owners of which, it would be fair to say are fabric fanatics.

This sweatshirt itself shares the same design and construction as the original M-21 but this variant is a true heavyweight in 100% cotton with a great handle reminiscent of vintage American sweatshirts from back when.

Deliberately inconsistent with blotches of colour and dye, each piece is unique, featuring lighter and darker patches for a distinctive "dyed in a bucket" look.

Washing instructions: For best care, we recommend washing Good Measure items on a cold wash and air-drying on a clothes airer. As the fabric is made from raw cotton, some shrinkage may occur if washed at a higher temperature. Wash separately, as colours may run.

Please note: Due to the hand-dyeing process, there will be natural colour variations and some shrinkage. These sweatshirts are slightly smaller than Good Measure's regular sizing, so we recommend sizing up.

Why?

Our signature sweatshirts,

The Shirley Crabtree?

The first time we felt the weight of our custom cotton fabric we knew it was big. 480gsm, add in the dry handle, cross grain weave and side ribbing the finished item had a presence. The UK's 'biggest' wrestling star from the 70's felt appropriate as its moniker.

The M20 and M21?

The post codes in Manchester where we hail from. Known as Cottonopolis, Manchester was the centre of the UK's cotton industry. We live there and we're back producing heavyweight cotton sweats entirely made in the UK.
